Start your career by joining a thriving, successful team enabling innovation within the financial services industry. Apex Fintech Solutions is seeking a business analyst / project analyst intern to join us this summer. This is an incredible opportunity for an intern to join a team that is focused on providing premier customer service to Apex’s new and existing customers. The Implementation team works ensure a seamless transition into the Apex environment for new correspondents. They are responsible for managing all parts of implementation and onboarding and including all communication with all relevant parties. We are currently looking for an intern to join our Onboarding & Implementation team in downtown Dallas, TX. The intern must be able to commit to a 12-week full-time (40hrs/week) internship during Summer 2022.  Not eligible for visa sponsorship.

What you’ll do all day:

  • Help us growImprove the customer’s onboarding experience during their migration to the Apex platform. Become well-versed on Apex’s APIs to partner with and guide customers’ tech team members through a successful onboarding integration.
  • Help our customers. You’ll partner with other Apex tech teams and departments to deliver a premier experience to new and existing clients’ onboarding to the Apex platform.
  • Solve problems. Build solid relationships with our external customers by being a continuous problem solver for their tech needs. Partner with customer tech teams to integrate to Apex API’s.
  • Reduce Friction.  Analyze current processes & workflows and offering solutions to increase efficiency and productivity. You’ll be working with our technology from our customers point of view and advocate for changes in systems, processes and documentation to make the process easier.

The skills you’ll need to succeed:

  • Be currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelor's degree program in Management Information Systems, Business Analysis or other related major. Junior or standing preferred. 
  • Be able to commit to a 12-week full-time (40hrs/week) internship during Summer 2022
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

Preferred skills:

  • Relevant work experience or work experience in a professional environment (e.g. internships, summer positions, school jobs, etc)
  • Knowledge of SQL
