ABOUT THIS ROLE
The HR Business Partner will oversee various aspects of human resources practices and processes within our company. This role involves onboarding, performance management, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance with regulatory concerns, and workforce development. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic environment, possesses solid problem-solving capabilities, and maintains confidentiality with sensitive information.
Duties/Responsibilities
Being a partner and trusted advisor to leaders and play a critical role in enhancing their leadership effectiveness
Developing and driving people-related strategies by identifying and researching human resource issues, contributing information, analysis, and recommendations in line with organisation objectives
Developing strong relationships with business clients and support managers in the application of HR policies and procedures, employment law and HR best practice
Being a role model and guide for employees. Champion, promote and demonstrate our culture of Integrity, Inclusion, and Innovation
Providing insightful data to guide decision making and provide proactive solutions
Responsible for ensuring the successful completion of inclusive, global HR Programs, in close collaboration with our HR Centers of Excellence
Leading and participating in local or global project teams on HR projects and initiatives
Assisting with HR Operations & other administrative duties such as payroll preparations, facilitating pay change requests and managing onboarding & offboarding processes and ensure in-office days compliance.
Act as a point of contact for employee grievances and conflicts; work towards effective solutions and promote a healthy workplace environment.
Oversee employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plans. Communicate benefits information to employees and address any inquiries.
Ensure that the company complies with all local, state, and federal laws concerning employment, labor relations, and health and safety protocols.
Identify training needs, organize training programs to enhance employee skills, and monitor their effectiveness.
Compile and update reports for job openings, employee turnover, etc., to assist in HR decision making.
Assist in the development, implementation, and management of company policies and procedures.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience); advanced degree preferred
3+ years of work experience in a human resources role
Professional HR Certification e.g. SHRM certification, CHRP, CHRS, PHRi
Required Skills/Abilities
Experience in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations.
Working knowledge of HRIS and applicant tracking systems e.g. Workday
Understanding of general human resources practices, policies and procedures including experience working in recruiting, operations, employee relations, and learning & development
Experience in handling complex employee relations issues
Extensive knowledge and understanding of employment law in the Philippines and the practical application in a business environment with preferred experience conducting workplace investigations and handling employee relations matters
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate clearly with diverse groups of people.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze data to make informed decisions.
Must uphold a strict level of confidentiality and demonstrate ethics and integrity
